## Pineapple Dole Whip (Disney Parks Copycat)

Bring the magic of Adventureland to your kitchen with this refreshing pineapple soft serve. This simple three-ingredient recipe captures the creamy, citrusy delight of Disney’s iconic Dole Whip — no park ticket required!

Course: Dessert Cuisine: Disney Parks, Disney World, Disneyland Keyword: Adventureland, Disney dessert, Dole Whip, frozen treat, pineapple soft serve
Servings: 2 bowls/cones

Author: Replicate the Magic
Cost: $5–8

### Equipment

- Ice cream maker
- Mixing bowl
- Whisk or electric mixer

### Ingredients

- 2 packets Dream Whip whipped topping mix
- 1.5 cups pineapple juice cold
- 1 tsp citric acid

### Instructions

- In a mixing bowl, combine Dream Whip packets, cold pineapple juice, and citric acid. Whisk or mix until smooth and frothy.
- Transfer the mixture to your ice cream maker. Churn according to manufacturer’s instructions until soft serve texture is achieved.
- Serve immediately in bowls or cones. For an authentic Disney feel, use a swirl piping technique and enjoy in the sunshine!

### Notes

Dream Whip provides the signature fluffiness and creamy texture, while citric acid enhances the tartness of the pineapple flavor. For a dairy-free version, consider replacing Dream Whip with a coconut-based whipped topping mix. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can freeze the blended mixture in a shallow container and stir every 30 minutes until slushy.

## Recipe 2… Frozen Pineapple Treat (from the Disneyland app)

## Dole Whip Recipe from the Disneyland App

Originally shared as an app-exclusive recipe during park closures, this refreshing Frozen Pineapple Treat is Disneyland’s fun take on a homemade soft serve-style dessert. While it’s not quite the Dole Whip, it hits the same sweet, tropical notes and brings a little Main Street magic to your blender.

Prep Time5 minutes mins Total Time5 minutes mins

Course: Dessert Cuisine: Theme Park Keyword: blender recipe, Disney Parks, Disney snack, Disneyland, frozen treat, ice cream, pineapple dessert
Servings: 2 bowls/cones

Author: Disneyland App
Cost: $4–6

### Equipment

- Blender
- Spatula
- Serving bowls or cones

### Ingredients

- 2 large scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cups frozen pineapple

### Instructions

- Add vanilla ice cream, pineapple juice, and frozen pineapple to a blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Pour into bowls or cones and serve immediately for best soft-serve texture.

### Notes

This recipe has been doubled to serve two people. The original version shared via the Disneyland app called for even more pineapple, but we found that the revised ratio blends more easily and delivers a smoother texture. While not an exact match to Dole Whip, it’s a great park-inspired shortcut with easy-to-find ingredients.

**Ingredients**

- 2 large scoops vanilla ice cream

- 1 cup pineapple juice

- 2 cups pineapple (frozen)

**Instructions**
Add ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

**Notes**

- This recipe has been doubled to serve two people.

- The recipe shared by the Disneyland app calls for double the pineapple. This was too much pineapple to allow the mixture to blend so has been adjusted.

>
In April 2020, the Disneyland app sent a notification with the recipe for a “frozen pineapple treat”… a tease to a recipe for its famous “Dole Whip.” While the ingredients do not match those found in the Dole Whip ingredients list, it is still a tasty way to fulfill those theme park cravings.

## Serving tips and swirl tricks

- For that classic look… spoon the mixture into a large zip-top bag, snip a corner, and pipe into a cup with a gentle spiral.

- Chill your cups first so the swirl stays fluffy.

- Garnish with a pineapple wedge or maraschino cherry if you like a little extra magic.

## Our Replicate-Worthy verdict

Park nostalgia… five stars
Summer refreshment… five stars
Overall… **Success**
Both versions are fast… fun… and hit that sweet-tart pineapple note we love.
