# DIY Moonstones from Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you love Disney Dreamlight Valley as much as we do, this one is pure cozy-craft bliss. In the game, Moonstones are the shiny premium currency you earn or buy… and in our studio we turn that idea into a simple, sparkly keepsake you can display on your desk or shelf. In the article below you’ll find what the video covers, a quick materials snapshot, and a few pro tips… then hit play to watch the full build and see our final verdict in the reveal. For context, Moonstones are the in-game premium currency used for things like Star Paths and shop items. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Dreamlight_Valley?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

## What you’ll see in the video

We keep it fast and friendly… walking through three different Moonstone craft ideas, surface prep and spray painting, a clean way to make the crescent shapes, plus a short nod to why we love the game.

## Materials snapshot

You can follow along with simple supplies you probably already have…

- Smooth rocks or faux stones… ideally with a nice flat face

- Primer and metallic paints… think silvers and midnight blues

- A way to make moon shapes… cutting machine or scissors with vinyl or cardstock

- Adhesive that cures clear… plus a clear sealant for durability

- Optional sparkle… mica or glow powder for that magical shimmer

## Quick tips from our bench

- Prime first for even color… thin coats win over heavy coats

- Mask the crescent carefully… burnish edges so paint stays crisp

- Layer your finish… a soft blue glaze over silver gives “moon glow” depth

- Seal after everything dries… it protects the sheen and keeps fingerprints off
