You can visit Gardens by the Bay without buying a conservatory ticket. But “the Gardens are free” leaves out the detail that matters when planning the day: which part do you want to enter?
A ground-level visit among the Supertrees, a walk on the elevated OCBC Skyway, and time inside the cooled conservatories are separate choices. Start with the experience you want, then buy the admission that actually includes it.
A free visit can be the plan
The official Supertree Grove page lists free admission and opening hours of 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. It also says the Supertree lights switch off at 11:30 p.m., so access late at night doesn’t mean the same illuminated scene continues until closing.
If you want to see the Supertrees from the ground and walk through this outdoor setting, make that your visit. You don’t need to add a conservatory simply to justify going to the Gardens.
For an evening plan, check Garden Rhapsody. The published show times are 7:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. daily, with free admission under the usual arrangements. The operator explicitly notes that admission charges to Supertree Grove may apply for ticketed events such as Christmas Wonderland.
That exception belongs in the plan, especially for a December visit. Check the event arrangements for your date before treating the show as an always-free stop. A general opening time and a special event’s admission rules answer different questions.
The Skyway is a separate paid choice

The OCBC Skyway is the elevated walkway between Supertrees. Standing beneath it in the Grove doesn’t include entry onto it.
At the October 22, 2026 source check, the listed non-resident adult price is S$14, and the child price for ages 3 to 12 is S$10, inclusive of GST. Published hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with last admission at 8:30 p.m. The operator lists a 15-minute visit duration and warns that admission may be suspended during inclement weather.
Choose it because you want the elevated view, and check its maintenance schedule before buying. Don’t make it the only way your evening can work if weather interrupts admission. The ground-level Grove gives you a different viewpoint, with its own event arrangements to check.
The conservatory ticket needs a closer read
The current Cloud Forest admission page lists a Flower Dome and Cloud Forest combination at S$46 for a non-resident adult, or S$32 for a child aged 3 to 12, inclusive of GST. At the source check, Cloud Forest includes Jurassic World: The Experience.
The page also lists resident options and larger bundles. Compare the exact inclusions, eligibility, date, and price rather than taking the lowest number visible as the rate for your group. A bundle that includes more attractions is useful only if you want to spend time in them.
Cloud Forest’s published hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with last admission at 8 p.m. Scheduled maintenance closures apply. Check the official hours and closures for every attraction you intend to enter, not just the day the wider Gardens are open.
Put the paid visit and evening show in order
For a plan that includes conservatories and Garden Rhapsody, choose the show you want to aim for and leave time to get back to the Grove. Last admission to a conservatory doesn’t tell you how long you can spend inside before your intended show starts.
Keep food and the walk between places in the schedule too. Filling every gap with another admission can turn a straightforward evening into a series of deadlines. Pick the attractions that matter, then leave the remaining time available for the Gardens themselves.
Before paying, compare three things:
- Access: Which specific spaces does this ticket include?
- Timing: Are those spaces open on your date, and can the visits fit comfortably?
- Total: What is the price for your group’s correct age and residency categories, with any separate admissions included?
For two non-resident adults, the listed conservatory combination and two Skyway entries would total S$120 at the stated rates. That is ticket arithmetic, excluding food, transport, and any separately ticketed event. A Grove-only visit under the usual free-admission arrangements is a different outing and a different budget.
